1. My glasses won’t charge or the charging is unstable. What should I do?

Try these steps in order:

→ Secure the connectionFirmly press and hold the nose pad bracket for at least 10 seconds to make sure the charging pins have full contact.

→ Check for sweat, dirt, or hairMake sure the charging contacts are clean and dry, then try again.

→ Check all power sourcesCharging case: Press the button. A solid green light means it’s charged. If not, charge the case first.Battery module: Place it in the case. An orange light means it’s charging (takes ~1.5 hours). The light turns off when it’s full.

→ No charging light while wearing your glasses? That’s normal – the indicator may not light up when they’re on your face. Just check the Meta AI app for battery level and charging status, or ask “Hey Meta, battery level?”

→ Meta AI app shows charging pauses briefly but then resumesAlso normal. Sometimes a tiny bump or minor connection hiccup can pause charging for a second. The Carina C2 automatically restarts charging – no harm to your glasses’ battery at all.

If you’re still having issues after trying all that, just email us at customerservice@prismxr.io – we’ve got your back.

2. My glasses sometimes repeatedly alert me the battery is low while charging. What’s going on?

Totally normal. This happens when your glasses drop below 15% and start charging – they’ll give a low battery alert. Sometimes charging may pause for a moment (the C2 has an auto-resume feature), and when it resumes, your glasses might beep low battery again. Don’t worry, it won’t stop charging or hurt your battery life.

3. How do I know if my glasses are actually charging?

If you’re wearing your glasses while charging, the built-in LED might not light up. No worries – just check the real-time battery level and charging status in the Meta AI app. Or just ask: “Hey Meta, battery level?”

4. The C2 feels uncomfortable when I wear it. What can I do?

The Carina C2 Nose Mount uses a low-profile adhesive pad – usually you won’t even notice it. But if it’s bothering you, just email customerservice@prismxr.io and we’ll send you free Nose Pads. They help spread out the weight and make things way more comfortable.

5. How to Charge Ray-Ban Meta Glasses and Carina C2 Battery Module Simultaneously with Carina S1?

Steps to Set Up Simultaneous Charging:1. Remove the Carina C2 battery module from your glasses.2. Place your glasses directly on the Carina S1 dock. Ensure the charging indicator glows orange, confirming the glasses are charging.3. Magnetically attach the Carina C2 battery module to the Temple Mount. The system will now charge both devices simultaneously.

6. The battery module keeps snagging my hair when I try to change it while wearing my glasses. How can I prevent this?

We know that behind-the-ear battery placement can sometimes catch longer hair during changes.

Here are two simple methods for a pain-free swap:

Method 1: The Safe Bet

1. Remove your glasses completely

2. Attach the battery module to the temple

3. Put your glasses back on

Method 2: The Quick Switch (while wearing)

1. Use one hand to gently hold all hair away from the temple area

2. With your other hand, smoothly attach the battery module

3. Make sure no hair is trapped before releasing

Why this happens: The behind-the-ear design balances weight for all-day comfort, but does require these simple techniques for tangle-free battery changes with longer hair.

7. The battery module gets warm while charging – is that a problem?

It’s completely normal to feel some warmth, especially when you’re charging and using the glasses at the same time. If it ever feels too hot to the touch, reach out to us at customerservice@prismxr.io and we’ll help figure it out.

8. Which glasses are compatible with Carina C2?

Carina C2 currently works with Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Regular and Large – both Gen 1 and Gen 2 are supported. Please note that the Regular and Large sizes require different versions of Carina C2 – be sure to select the right one for your glasses.

9. Do I need to buy the magnetic charging cable separately?

If you need to use the magnetic charging cable, you’ll need to purchase it separately – and you also need to own a Carina C2. The cable works together with the Nose Mount and Temple Mount on the C2.

10. My Ray-Ban Meta glasses won’t turn on. What should I do?

This is usually unrelated to Carina C2. We recommend leaving Carina C2 on and trying the following steps in order until your glasses power on:

→ Make sure the charging case has plenty of battery, and both the glasses and case charging contacts are clean. Keep the glasses’ power switch off. Place the glasses in the charging case for at least 30 minutes, then try turning them on.

Force hard reset your Ray-Ban Meta glasses: Close the temples, press the capture button five times until the LED turns orange, then press and hold the button until the LED starts blinking. The reset is complete.

→ Turn the power switch on, open the temples, and leave the glasses untouched for over 72 hours until the battery is fully drained. Then charge them in the case for at least 30 minutes and try turning them on again.

→ Check for any loose plastic near the power button or capture button on the temple. If you find any, press it firmly against the frame and try to power on the glasses.

11. Is a charger included with the Carina C2?

No, the Carina C2 does not include a dedicated charger. However, it is designed to be compatible with any standard 5V USB power adapter. You may use a charger from a smartphone, tablet, or other common electronic device for operation.

12. There's a delay (up to 3 seconds) in my charging case's indicator light. Is this normal?

Yes, This is completely normal! The brief delay you're noticing is actually by design. Your charging case continuously monitors the charging status to ensure stable, safe power delivery. No need to worry about your device's performance or safety.

Thanks for being so observant! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

13. Does the battery go on the left or right side of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses?

It goes on the right side.

We designed it this way because placing it on the left would partially cover the power button. By mounting the battery on the right, both the set button and the touch control area remain fully exposed, ensuring you can use the glasses exactly as usual without any obstruction.

14. Why does my battery module's orange light stay on constantly, even after charging all day?

We understand why this might be confusing! Let's walk through what's happening.

First, the basics of your indicator light:

Solid orange = Currently charging

Light off = Fully charged

Here's the key insight: Your battery module might be getting "woken up" repeatedly by these common actions:

1. Handling or moving the battery module

2. Accidentally pressing the side button

3. Charging the case via USB-C

What to try right now:

Leave the battery module undisturbed in the charging case for about 10-15 minutes and watch what happens. If it's truly fully charged, the light should turn off during this time.

If the light STAYS orange after this test:

This typically happens when your wall charger can't deliver enough power for both tasks simultaneously. Here's what you can do:

Quick fixes to try:

1. Switch your charger - Use a different, more powerful charging brick (like the one for your current smartphone)

2. Give it a quick reset - Unplug the case, remove the battery modules, then reseat them properly

15. Can I use clip-on sunglasses with my Carina C2?

We do not recommend using clip-on sunglasses with the Carina C2. The clip-on arms can apply pressure to the internal flexible cable of the Carina C2 module, which is fixed to the inside of your glasses, and may cause damage.

16. With the battery on the right side, will the glasses feel unbalanced or heavier on that side?

Great question about balance! Here's the simple answer: Will you feel it? Almost not at all.

Here's why:

1. The battery is super light - It weighs only about 7 grams.

2. It's placed strategically - The battery sits at the very end of the temple (the part that goes behind your ear), right near the point where your head naturally grips the glasses.

Think of it like this: because the weight is positioned so close to the pivot point where the glasses clip onto your head, the leverage (or "moment") it creates is minimal. The clamping force of the temples on your head is far greater than this tiny, well-placed bit of weight.

Bottom line: The design specifically balances comfort and function. You should be able to wear them all day without noticing a right-side bias. Give it a try – we think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

17. Is the magnetic connection stable enough for roller coasters?

For most roller coaster rides, yes – the connection should hold just fine. The Carina C2 uses strong magnets designed for secure daily use.

Here’s what you should know:

1. For daily & active use: The magnetic connection is stable for activities like driving, running, or cycling.

2. For roller coasters & high-force scenarios: While it’s usually secure, the intense forces, sudden drops, or vibrations could potentially dislodge the battery if it gets directly bumped or snagged.

3. To avoid issues: Try not to touch or adjust the battery module during the ride.

4. Not for extreme sports: We don’t recommend using it during activities with severe, sustained impact (like skiing, skydiving, or mountain biking on rough trails), as those might overcome the magnetic force.

18. Does using the Carina C2 damage my glasses' battery?

That's a great question about long-term care. The short answer is NO

Here’s why: When you're using your glasses and they're connected to the Carina C2, the system works in a smart way:

1. The Carina C2 directly powers your glasses to run all their features.

2. At the same time, it charges the internal battery of your glasses slowly and steadily.

Think of it like this: the Carina C2 takes on the hard work of supplying power, while your glasses' own battery gets to relax and just top up its charge. This means the internal battery isn't going through constant charge-and-discharge cycles, which is the main thing that contributes to long-term wear.

Bottom line: You can confidently use the Carina C2 as your main power source. It's a feature designed to power your glasses smartly and help maintain the health of the internal battery over time.

19. The charging case won't charge my glasses, and its indicator light is red/solid or blinking red. What should I do?

This is often caused by moisture or debris on the charging contacts.

Try these steps:

Step 1: Gently clean the metal magnetic contacts on the Temple Mount with a dry, soft cloth. Then place the glasses in the Meta charging case and check if they charge normally.

Step 2: If the issue persists, clean and dry the charging contacts on the Nose Bridge Contact Mount as well as the contacts inside the charging case. Then place the glasses in the case and test again.

Step 3: If charging still fails, check for any moisture or condensation in the gap between the Carina C2 and your glasses. If moisture is present, gently absorb it with a tissue, then use a hairdryer on the cool setting to blow-dry the contact area for a few minutes. After drying, place the glasses in the charging case and test once more.

Please note: Before charging, make sure the glasses’ charging case has sufficient battery.

If you’re still having issues after trying all that, just email us at customerservice@prismxr.io – we’ve got your back.

20. The case lid doesn't sit completely flush when my glasses are inside. Is this normal?

Yes, this is perfectly normal! The slight gap you're noticing won't affect charging performance in any way. Your glasses will charge just fine.

Quick tip: When closing the lid, just apply a little firm pressure until it clicks into place.
