When installing the magnetic positioning component, ensure the surrounding area is clean and press firmly for a period of time to secure the magnetic positioning component onto the Quest 3.
This behavior is a feature of the Quest 3 headset itself—where it initiates a process to request charging from the Dock sometimes. Once the Quest 3 successfully requests charging from the Dock, this behavior comes to an end.
Charging the Quest 3 will take approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach full battery capacity.
Charging the controller will take approximately 2.5 hours to reach full battery capacity.
Note: Do not use any cleaning product that may cause irritation.Wipe with a clean, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth.
Carina D1 is compatible with the elite strap or halo strap for the Quest 3. Please follow the following steps:1. Insert the strap holder into the hole at the bottom rear of the dock.2. Rotate the two arms of Quest 3 downwards until they reach the bottom.3. Place your Quest 3 on the headset charging cradles.4. Place the solid white part (not the soft part) of the elite strap or halo strap onto the strap holder.
The dock is designed to charge only your Quest 3, it will not charge your elite or halo strap with battery.
The dock only supports the original waist strap (excluding the original battery cover) of the controller, not the controller grip.
Make sure the silver part of the rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries facing upward to make contact with the contacts on the provided battery cover. Note: Please use the provided battery cover.
Normally, the voltage of Ni-MH batteries will drop after being fully charged. After the controllers are fully charged, the battery level displayed on your Quest 3 or in the App will be less than 100%, but will still have enough power to last for more than 10 hours.
Yes, even if you place the left and right controllers in the dock in reverse positions, the dock can still recognize them correctly and charge them.
The Pin head for Quest 3 supports a maximum of 27W input, while the USB-C port supports a maximum of 18W input. Therefore, the 30W adapter is able to provide sufficient current to support the Quest 3's maximum charging rate.
When charging your Quest 3 using the Dock, please make sure to use the provided charger or a charger with an output power of 30W or higher to charge the Quest 3.Note: When using a non-provided charger, issues such as abnormal charging due to insufficient output power and continuous charging prompts from the Quest 3 may occur.2. Please attach the magnetic positioning component to Quest 3.3. Please do not use aftermaket facial cover with a nose pad, or shell cover.4. Please use the strap holder when using an aftermarket strap and check if the magnetic positioning components on the Quest 3 are well connected with the magnetic head on the dock.
